Like a big, fancy birthday party every year
The Royal family is like the main characters in a very long story that everyone knows. They’ve been around for hundreds of years, and people love having a tradition to follow, it’s like having a big, fancy birthday party every year with cake, music, and guests from all over.
It's not about being perfect
Even though they’re famous, the Royal family isn’t perfect. Sometimes they make mistakes or have arguments, just like you and your friends do at playtime. But that’s okay! People still enjoy seeing them on TV and going to events where they're celebrated.
So even though times have changed, Britain keeps its Royal family because it brings joy and a sense of history, much like how you have favorite stories or songs that make you feel happy every time you hear them.
