Imagine teaching a child to recognize animals. You show them pictures of dogs, then cats, and they learn the differences over time. Computers learn in a similar way. When we give them lots of examples, like showing them many photos of different animals, they start to notice patterns and rules. This is called learning. The more examples they see, the better they become at recognizing new things on their own.
Examples
- A computer learns what a dog looks like by being shown many pictures of dogs.
- It gets better at identifying new faces by practicing with different examples each day.
