How Did Ancient People Predict the Weather?

Ancient people looked at nature to guess the weather. If birds flew low, they knew it was going to rain because they could see the clouds coming. If the sky was red in the morning, that meant bad weather was on its way. They also watched animals, like how cows lay down before a storm!
