Like Talking with Your Friends
Imagine you're playing hide-and-seek with your best friend. At first, you both just point and make noises. But soon, you start using simple words like “ready?” or “I found you!” These are the beginnings of language, a way to communicate clearly.
Making It Bigger
As more people started talking this way, they made up new sounds for new ideas. Like when you say “mama” or “dada,” those words came from how babies talk to their parents. Over time, these simple sounds turned into full sentences and stories, just like how your drawings turn into pictures of whole adventures.
It was like building a big tower with small blocks: one sound at a time, stacked on top of each other, until you had something amazing!
