How the H1B Visa Works
The H1B visa lets companies bring workers from other countries to the U. S. for special jobs, just like how a team might need a new player who's really good at a game. These workers are called specialty workers, and they usually have college degrees or lots of experience.
The H1B Process
Every year, there’s a big competition, it's like a race where companies try to pick the best worker to bring into the U. S. A computer picks randomly from all the entries, just like if you and your friends drew names out of a hat to see who gets to be the team captain!
What You Need
To get picked, the worker has to have a job offer from a company that’s using the H1B visa, and they need to show they're qualified, like having a report card with good grades or showing off their skills in a game.
That's how it works! No magic, just rules and a little luck.
