How Does Human Body 101 | National Geographic Work?

The human body is like a super-cool robot that you can control with your thoughts.

Inside the Robot

Your body has cells, tiny building blocks that work together to make you move, think, and feel things. These cells are grouped into tissues, which are like teams working on specific jobs: muscle tissue helps you run, nerve tissue sends messages from your brain to your feet.

The Control Center

Your brain is like the main computer of this robot, it tells everything what to do. When you want to grab a toy, your brain says "go!" to your arm, and all the cells in your arm work together to make that happen.

Powering the Robot

You need food to keep going, just like a robot needs batteries. Your stomach is like a kitchen, it breaks down food into energy so your body can keep moving and thinking.

Your heart is like a pump that sends fuel (blood) all around your body!

So every time you laugh, run, or even sleep, your amazing body robot is working hard to make life fun and full of adventures.
