How Does Infinity explained in 3 minutes | Hakeem Oluseyi | TEDxIronwoodStatePrison Work?

Infinity is like having a never-ending bag of candy, you can always take one more piece!

Imagine you're counting numbers: 1, 2, 3... and you just keep going forever. That’s infinity, the idea that some things don’t stop growing or changing.

Counting to Infinity

Think about your toy box. If you have 5 toys, you can count them all in one go. But what if your toy box is infinite? You’d never finish counting! It’s like having a staircase that goes on forever, no matter how high you climb, there's always another step to take.

Infinity Can Be Big or Bigger

Now imagine two infinite bags of candy: one has red candies and the other has blue ones. At first, it seems like they’re both just "infinite," but if you pair them up, one red with one blue, you can still match them all perfectly! That means both are equally infinite. But what if you had an infinite number of infinite bags? Then things get really interesting, that's infinity squared!

Infinity isn’t a real place, but it’s like a game where the rules change when you go bigger than big. Infinity is like having a never-ending bag of candy, you can always take one more piece!

Imagine you're counting numbers: 1, 2, 3... and you just keep going forever. That’s infinity, the idea that some things don’t stop growing or changing.
