The Neolithic Revolution is when people went from moving around to living in one place and growing food, like switching from a backpacking trip to having a home base with snacks always ready.
Before, people were like nomads, following animals and picking berries. They had to move all the time because food wasn’t always nearby.
Like Going From a Pizza Party to Having a Pizza Shop
Imagine you’re at a pizza party, fun, but you have to wait for someone to bring more pizza. That’s like being a hunter-gatherer, you get food, but it takes work and luck.
Then one day, someone decides to plant seeds in the ground, like putting little pizza dough into an oven. They wait a while, and poof, there's pizza (or wheat or barley) ready to eat! That’s farming, growing your own food so you don’t have to chase it.
Now people could stay in one place, build houses, and even start having more friends (and family). It was like going from a fun campout to moving into a cozy house with a kitchen. Everything got bigger, better, and more interesting!
