What Is An Existential Crisis?
Why It Happens
Sometimes, things change so fast or in such a strange way that your brain feels confused. It's like your favorite snack suddenly tastes different, not bad, just… weird. You keep eating it, but you're now wondering if it was ever really the same snack at all.
That’s how an existential crisis works: something familiar changes in a confusing way, and that makes you question everything, even things you used to be totally sure about.
Examples
- A teenager starts doubting if they're on the right path in life after failing an important exam.
- A person feels lost after moving to a new city and losing their sense of identity.
