A sand clock is like a timer made from sand that flows slowly from one side to the other, just like how you count your steps while playing hide and seek.

To make a sand clock with a plastic bottle, you need two bottles, some sand, and maybe a bit of tape or glue. Here's how it works:

You fill one bottle with sand up to the top, then turn it upside down so the sand can flow through the neck into the other empty bottle. The sand moves slowly, just like how you take your time to tie your shoes.

If you want it to be extra fun, you can add some colored sand, or even tiny pebbles mixed in with the sand so it looks like a rainbow flowing down.
