Tech Explainer | What is Robotics?

A robot is like a toy that can move and do things all by itself, just like you!

Imagine you have a favorite action figure, it can walk, talk, or even fight. Now imagine if that action figure could think and decide what to do on its own. That’s basically what a robot is: a smart machine that moves and acts like a person or an animal.

How Robots Work

Robots have parts inside them, just like your body has muscles and bones. They use sensors, which are like eyes and ears, they help the robot see and hear things around it. Then there's the brain of the robot, usually a computer, that tells it what to do next.

What Robots Can Do

Robots can be as simple as a toy that walks when you press a button or as complicated as a helper in a factory that builds cars all day long. Some robots even help doctors operate on patients, they're like super-smart helpers with steady hands!

So, a robot is just a smart, moving machine that can do things by itself, no magic needed!
