What are association messages?

Association messages are special signals that help things know how to work together when they're not all in one place.

Imagine you have a toy box full of different toys, cars, blocks, and action figures. Each toy knows what it can do by itself, but sometimes they need to team up. Now, think about your favorite toy car. It doesn’t know where the ramp is or how to climb until someone tells it. That someone could be like a friend who says, “Hey, there’s a ramp over here!”, that's like an association message.

When one thing sends a signal to another, they can work together even if they're far apart. It's like when your mom calls you from the kitchen and says, "Come help me set the table!" That call is like an association message, telling you what to do next.

Without these messages, everything would be confused, just like a toy that doesn’t know where to go or who to play with!
