What are buses?

A bus is like a big, moving room that takes people from one place to another.

Imagine you're playing at the park and want to go home. Instead of walking all the way, you can jump on a bus, which is like a giant toy truck with seats inside. It drives along the road, carrying everyone who wants to go the same way. When it stops at your street, you can get off and run the rest of the way home.

How Buses Work

Buses have special places where people can get on and off, these are called stops or stations. Some buses follow the same path every day, like a train that goes around in circles. You just need to know when it comes and where it stops.

If you're going somewhere new, you might see different kinds of buses, some bigger than others, but they all do the same job, help people move from one place to another, just like a friendly ride in a big toy truck.
