What are composite dimensions?

A composite dimension is like putting together two or more simple shapes to make a new, bigger shape.

Imagine you have blocks, small cubes that you can stack. Each block has length, width, and height. Now, if you put several of those blocks side by side, like building a wall, you're making something bigger from smaller parts. That's what composite dimensions are: combining simple shapes to make more complex ones.

If you take two cubes and stick them together so they form a long rectangle, you’re creating a new shape that has the same height and width as one cube but twice the length. This bigger shape is a composite dimension, it’s made by putting simple shapes (cubes) together.

Think of making a pizza: you start with a circle (the dough), then add squares (cheese), triangles (pepperoni slices), and even little circles (olives). Each part is simple on its own, but when they come together, they create something complex, just like composite dimensions!
