What are dust moves?

Dust moves are like when you shake your toy box and all the little toys jump out and run around, they’re just moving because something made them move.

Imagine you have a sandbox on a sunny day. You dig in it with your hands, and suddenly all the sand starts to flow, some goes up, some goes down, and some piles up in new places. That’s what dust moves are like! They happen when tiny bits of dust, which is like very small sand or dirt, get moved around by wind, people walking, or even animals running through them.

When the wind blows, it's like you're giving a big push to all that little dust. It makes them fly up in the air and travel far away, just like when you blow on a pile of leaves, and they all go flying!

Sometimes, dust moves can even change the way a place looks. If there's a lot of dust moving around, it might make everything look hazy or cloudy, kind of like when you're in a fog!
