What are gentle inclines?

Gentle inclines are slightly sloped paths that make it easier to walk or roll things up.

Imagine you're pushing a toy car from one side of your room to the other. If the floor is flat, you just push straight ahead. But if the floor is like a ramp, not too steep, just a little bit higher at one end, that’s a gentle incline. It's easier for the toy car to move up because it doesn’t have to climb something really tall.

Like a Small Hill

Think of a gentle incline as a small hill you might roll your ball across in the park. The ball goes up slowly, not all at once like when it rolls down a big slide. That’s how walking or pushing things uphill feels on a gentle incline, it's easier than climbing something really steep.

Like Stairs with Soft Steps

If stairs were like steps in a staircase, a gentle incline is more like soft steps that don’t make you work too hard to go up. It’s just a little bit higher each time, so your legs can take it one step at a time, or even roll right over it!
