What are participants?

Participants are people or things that take part in something fun or important, just like you and your friends when you play a game.

What's a Participant?

Imagine you're playing tag at the park. You're one of the participants, you’re running, hiding, and having a great time! Everyone who is playing tag is also a participant. So if there are 10 kids playing, all of them are participants in that game.

Why Participants Matter

When you play a game or do an activity with others, each person helps make it more fun. If only one kid was playing tag, it wouldn’t be as exciting, but when everyone is jumping in and having a good time, the game becomes something special! That’s why being a participant is important, you're helping to make things happen, just like your friends are helping you have fun.

Participants can be people or even animals. If you’re watching a race with horses, the horses are also participants because they're taking part in the race too!
