What are the Different Parts of a Horse?

A horse is like a super-powered robot made of parts that all work together to run, jump, and even laugh (if horses could laugh!).

The head is where the horse sees, smells, and thinks. It has big eyes for seeing far away and a long nose for sniffing out treats or dangers, like when you hide your snack under the couch!

Underneath the head is the body, which is like the horse’s strong backpack. It holds all the muscles that help the horse move, just like your legs help you walk and run.

The legs are the horse's speed shoes! They go thud-thud-thud as the horse runs, jumping over things like puddles or imaginary dragons (or real ones if they're there!).

The tail is like a horse’s happy wave. It swishes around when the horse is cool and calm, or sometimes when it's saying “I don’t like that!” to bugs or loud noises.
