What are two or more functions?

Two or more functions are like having two or more special jobs that one person can do, all at once!

Imagine your friend Lila is a super helper who does two things: she helps you tie your shoes and also gives you a sticker when you’re good. That means Lila has two functions: tying shoes and giving stickers.

What Does a Function Really Do?

A function is like a special recipe that someone follows to get a result. When we say two or more functions, it’s like having two (or more) different recipes that one person can use, maybe even at the same time!

For example, your mom might have two functions: she makes breakfast and also helps you with homework. You don’t need magic, just her doing both jobs in the morning.

So when we say something has two or more functions, it means it can do two (or more) different useful things, like Lila, your mom, or even your favorite toy that can be both a car and a robot!

  2. Combining two functions to make one formula, like f(g(x))
  3. Putting together two separate rules into one big rule
