What are win-win solutions?

A win-win solution is when everyone involved gets what they want, and no one feels left out.

Imagine you and your friend both want to play with the same toy at recess. If you take it without asking, your friend might be sad. But if you say, "Let's take turns," then both of you get to play with the toy, that’s a win-win solution!

Sometimes, grown-ups have problems too. For example, two neighbors might want the same parking spot near the front door. If they argue about it every day, no one is happy. But if they agree to share the spot on different days, both of them get what they want, that’s a win-win solution!

Think of it like sharing your snacks at lunchtime. If you give your friend a cookie and they give you a fruit, both of you are happy because you each got something you wanted. That’s a win-win solution, just like when you and your friend share the toy!
