What Causes the ‘Rise and Fall’ of Civilizations?

Civilizations grow when people work together and have enough food, but they fall when things get too hard. Like a big group of friends who all share toys, at first it's fun, but if there aren't enough toys to go around, the friends might argue or even break up. Civilizations are like that big group of friends.
