Imagine all your friends, family, and even the people on the street just stopped talking. No words, no shouting, no whispering. Just silence everywhere. It would be weird at first because we use words to share our thoughts, feel connected, or understand what's going on around us. Without talking, you might not know where your friends are, how they're feeling, or even if they still like you. At school, the teacher wouldn’t explain anything, and that’s a problem! So, without speech, life would be very different.
