What is asynchrony? It’s when things happen out of order, like a game where everyone gets to take turns at their own speed.

Imagine you're playing with your friends in the park. One friend wants to ride the swings, another wants to play hide and seek, and someone else just wants to sit on the grass and eat snacks. If they all did everything at once, it would be a big mess, no one could really enjoy their favorite activity.

But if they each do what they want when they want, that’s asynchrony in action! The swing rider can go up high while the hide-and-seek player is looking for friends, and the snack-eater just keeps eating without worrying about anyone else. Everyone gets to do their thing at their own pace.

Think of it like a traffic light. Each car waits for its turn, red means stop, green means go. But if you're on a bike, you might zoom through while the cars are still waiting. That’s asynchrony, some things move fast, others wait, and everything works together without needing to be perfectly lined up.
