Conversation is when people take turns talking to each other, just like playing a game with words.
Like a Turn-Based Game
Imagine you and your friend are playing tag. You run, then your friend runs, then you again, it's all about taking turns. A conversation works the same way: one person says something, then the other person responds, and so on. It’s like having a little chat that goes back and forth.
Using Real Words
When you say “Hi,” and your friend answers “Hello,” that’s the start of a conversation. You might ask them how they’re feeling, and they’ll tell you something about their day, maybe they had ice cream or played with their toys. Then it's your turn again to respond.
You don’t need any special tools or magic to have a conversation, just your voice and the words you know!
