What is donor?

A donor is someone who gives something to help others.

Imagine you have a favorite toy that makes you really happy. Now imagine your friend doesn’t have one, they’d love to play with it too! A donor is like you, but instead of giving just one toy, they might give many toys to kids who need them more. They’re sharing what they have so others can be happy too.

How a Donor Helps

A donor doesn’t always give things they use, sometimes they give money or even time. Like when you help your friend by letting them borrow your pencil during class, but instead of just one pencil, a donor might give a whole box to a school that needs supplies. That way, lots of kids can have pencils and learn better.

Sometimes people don’t know who the donor is, they just get something nice without knowing it came from someone who cared. It’s like getting a gift in the mail with no note, you might not know who gave it, but you still feel happy!
