Intervention is when someone helps you fix a problem before it gets too big.
Imagine you're trying to build a tower with your blocks, but one of them keeps falling over. You might not notice at first, you’re too busy stacking more on top. But then the whole tower starts wobbling, and boom! It all comes down. That’s like not getting an intervention.
But if a friend sees what's happening, they might say, “Hey, maybe we should check that block before it falls!” That’s intervention, someone stepping in to help you fix the problem early, so you don’t have to deal with a big mess later.
Like a Playground Helper
Think of intervention like a playground helper. If you’re playing tag and you're running too fast without looking where you’re going, the helper might gently pull you back before you trip over a log. They’re not trying to stop you from having fun, they just want to help you keep playing safely.
Without that helper, you might fall down and be hurt, or even stop playing altogether. But with them, you can keep running and laughing, no big problems, just little fixes!
