What is lighter?

What is lighter? means we're trying to find out which thing has less weight.

Imagine you have two bags, one full of feathers and the other full of rocks. If you lift both, the bag with feathers feels easier in your hands. That’s because it's lighter than the one with rocks.

Why things feel lighter

Think about a backpack. When it's empty, it's easy to carry. But when you put all your toys inside, it gets harder to carry. The more stuff you add, the heavier it becomes.

So, if you have two objects and one feels easier to lift or hold, that one is lighter than the other, just like how a feather bag is lighter than a rock bag!
