The MHC is like a special team that helps your body recognize when something is wrong or not belong.
Imagine you have a toy box full of toys, each one has its own shape and color. Now, think of the MHC as a group of helpers who check each toy to see if it's yours or someone else’s. If they find a toy that doesn’t look like yours, they let your body know so you can take action.
How It Works
Your body has little workers called cells, and some of them wear special outfits made by the MHC team. These outfits show off pieces of the toys (or germs) that are inside or outside your body.
If the MHC sees a toy that doesn’t match, it sends a message to your body’s soldiers, like calling for help when you find a new toy in the box that doesn’t belong. That way, your body can fight off anything that might be making you feel sick.
It's like having a team of friends who are always on watch, making sure only the right toys come into your toy box!
