What is moderation?

Moderation means using just enough of something, not too much and not too little.

Imagine you're eating your favorite snack, maybe it's chocolate chips or cookies. If you eat all of them at once, you might feel sick or full for hours. But if you take a few every day, you can enjoy them without getting tired of them. That’s moderation, taking just the right amount so you can keep enjoying your favorite things over and over.

Like Sharing Toys

Think about playing with your friends. If you take all the toys, your friend might feel left out or sad. But if you both share and take turns, everyone has fun. That’s moderation in action, being fair so everyone can enjoy their turn.

Why It Matters

When we use moderation, we stay happy, healthy, and ready for more fun tomorrow!
