What is problem-solving?

Problem-solving is when you figure out how to fix something that isn’t working quite right.

Imagine you’re trying to build a tower with blocks, but it keeps falling over. That’s the problem. Now, you think about why it's falling, maybe the bottom is too wobbly or the blocks are too big. Then you try different ways to stack them until your tower stands strong. That’s problem-solving!

What It Feels Like

When you solve a problem, it feels like finding just the right piece of a puzzle that makes everything fit together nicely. You might test out ideas, like trying different shoes to see which ones are the most comfortable, and keep going until you find one that works.

Why It Matters

Problem-solving is like having a superpower in your brain. Every time you solve a problem, you’re learning something new, just like how you learn to tie your shoelaces or ride a bike. And once you’ve solved it, it’s easier next time!

So whether you're building towers, tying shoes, or even figuring out why your favorite toy stopped working, you're using the amazing skill of problem-solving.
