What is relativism?

Relativism is when everyone can have their own version of the truth, just like how everyone can think a toy is the best one ever.

Imagine you and your friend are playing with blocks. You say a red block is the tallest because it looks bigger to you. Your friend says a blue block is the tallest because it looks bigger to them. Both of you are right, that's relativism in action!

Like Different Glasses

Think of relativism like different colored glasses. If you wear red glasses, everything looks redder. If your friend wears blue glasses, everything looks bluer. You both see the same blocks, but they look a little different through your glasses, and that's okay.

So in life, relativism means people can see things differently, and that’s part of what makes the world fun and interesting! Relativism is when everyone can have their own version of the truth, just like how everyone can think a toy is the best one ever.
