What makes texture different?
- Smooth textures feel like sliding your hand over a lake, easy and calm.
- Bumpy textures feel like walking on a path with little hills, you can feel every step.
You can even find texture in food, like the softness of a cookie or the crunch of cracker bits. Each one gives your fingers (or your mouth!) something special to feel.
Texture is all around us
Next time you're playing, look at your toys or touch your clothes, you’ll notice how they each have their own texture. It’s like every object has a secret feeling just waiting for you to discover!
