What is waggle?

Waggle is like when you and your friend both try to move a toy at the same time, it goes wiggly instead of straight.

Imagine you have a robot that wants to go somewhere, but it’s not sure which way to turn. So it does something called a waggle, kind of like when you shake your head side to side to think. The robot waggles its body back and forth while it decides where it needs to go.

How waggle helps the robot

When the robot waggles, it’s trying to figure out which direction feels right. If it waggles left and it feels easier, it knows to turn that way. If it waggles right and feels stuck, it tries the other side. It's like when you're playing with a toy car, if it gets stuck on one side, you push it the other way.

Waggle is just a robot’s way of thinking before it moves, not magic, just a little wiggle to help it choose the best path!
