How we see yellow
When it's sunny outside, the sky can feel bright and warm because the sun gives off yellow light. Your eyes catch that yellow, and you know it's a happy, shiny day.
What makes something yellow
Some things are naturally yellow, like bananas or honey. Others become yellow when they get light, like paper in the sunlight. It’s kind of like how your face feels warm when you're outside on a sunny day, the yellow light is making everything feel bright and happy too!
