What is yes?

Yes is when you say I agree or I want that, like when your friend asks if you want to play outside and you say "yes" because you're happy to go.

When you say yes, it sounds like a short, happy word, “yes!”. It can be loud or soft, depending on how excited you are. Imagine your friend asks if you want to eat ice cream, and you jump up and shout “yes!” because you love chocolate.
