A leader is someone who makes others want to follow them. Sometimes it's because they're brave or smart, but often it's because they make people feel important and heard. Like when a teacher gets the whole class excited about science, that teacher becomes a leader in the classroom.
Examples
- A camp counselor becomes the leader of a group when they help everyone work together to build a fire.
- A friend leads a game because they know all the rules and keep it fair for everyone.
- A teacher leads the class by asking questions that make everyone think.
