Who is Legislative Branch?

The legislative branch is like the group of friends who make all the rules for a game, and sometimes change them when they don’t work so well.

Imagine you're playing a game with your friends in the park, and someone suggests new rules. The legislative branch is that group of friends who get to talk about the rules, agree on what's fair, and write them down. In real life, this group is called Congress, and it has two parts: the House of Representatives and the Senate.

How They Work

  • The House of Representatives is like a team where each state gets some players depending on how many people live there.
  • The Senate is like another team, but every state gets exactly two players, no matter how big or small the state is.

Together, they work like a group of friends deciding what game to play next and making sure everyone agrees. They can even change the rules if something isn't working well anymore, just like you might decide to switch games if one gets too hard.
