Why Can't We Feel The Earth Spinning (Explained)?

Think about playing on a slide. When you go down, everything around you is moving too, your friends, the ground, even the air. It feels like you're flying, but actually, you're just going down the slide with everything else. Earth’s spin is like that giant slide, we’re all going along with it, so we don’t feel the speed.

Just like how your eyes get used to a light turning on, our bodies get used to the spinning of Earth. We’ve been spinning since we were tiny, so now it feels perfectly normal, like breathing or blinking. You don’t notice it because it’s always there, just like your favorite blanket at bedtime!
