Why Do Numbers Sometimes Seem to Disappear?

Imagine you have a pizza, and you want to share it with zero friends. If there are no friends to give the pizza to, how can you divide it? It doesn't make sense, that’s why dividing by zero is like asking for something impossible. We say it's undefined because nothing makes that question work.
