Wet voice is when someone’s voice sounds like it comes from deep underwater. It happens because of how sound waves travel through the air and our body. Imagine your voice is a ball that bounces around in a room, if there are soft things, like a pillow or water, in the way, the ball moves slower and makes a softer, deeper sound. In people with a wet voice, their throat and mouth shape the sound like it's going through something soft and squishy.
