Why Do Volcanoes Sometimes Erupt Quietly?

Sometimes volcanoes erupt quietly because the lava is like syrup, it flows slowly instead of exploding. If the magma is not too hot or has gas bubbles in it, it just oozes out calmly instead of bursting with fire and smoke. It’s like a volcano taking its time to show off.
