We see colors because light bounces off things and enters our eyes. Think of it like this: when you shine a flashlight on a red ball, only the red part of the light stays, that's why we see red! Different objects reflect different colors of light, which is why some things look blue or green.

- A blue shirt looks blue because it reflects blue light and absorbs all the other colors.
- If you wear red sunglasses, everything will look gray or blue because the sunglasses block red light.
- When the sun sets, the sky turns orange, that’s because longer wavelengths of light travel through more of Earth's atmosphere.
