Imagine your eyes are like a color TV. When there's no light, the screen turns black, but sometimes you still see colors because parts of it flicker on and off. Your eyes have special cells that react to different types of light, even in total darkness. Some people can see colors when everything else is dark, just like some TVs show a little picture even when they're turned off.
Examples
- Imagine you're in a room that's completely dark, but there’s just one tiny light bulb on. You can see some colors from that light.
- Some people can even see colors in complete darkness, like seeing red or blue without any light at all.
