Why Do We See Ghosts?

Sometimes people see ghosts, but it's not really a ghost. It's like when you look at the edge of something and your brain fills in what’s missing, just like when you're on a train and it feels like the train next to yours is moving. Your eyes can’t always tell the difference between real things and fake ones, especially if there are lights or shadows.
