Why Does a Circle Have 360 Degrees?

Imagine you're playing a game of tag, and you go all the way around your friend. If you count every step you take as one degree, it takes exactly 360 steps to make a full circle. That’s why we say a circle has 360 degrees, it's like counting how many tiny steps fit in a full turn.
